Lo mejor de Bad Religion (según mi falible opinión)

Me costó muchas horas hacer esta antología, pues tuve que escuchar todos y cada uno de los álbums de Bad Religion. Es un gran grupo, aunque sus primeros tres álbums no fueron la gran cosa, pero luego crearon obras maestras como Recipe of Hate (si no mal recuerdo el título del álbum). En todo caso, me parecía que las recopilaciones de youtube no eran buenas, así que fui paciente e hice la mía propia, que aquí les dejo para que la descarguen.

Horror videogames music anthology

El recopilador de esta antología (Ezequiel Vives) es un koopa de Monstruo Town que recibió clases de artes marciales con el maestro Jinx, alcanzando el grado de cinturón negro y ganando un campeonato de la liga X-F. Así mismo es un eminente programador que, entre otras cosas, ha desarrollado un eficiente sistema de eliminación de troyanos. Como uno de sus principales pasa tiempos se dedica a jugar videojuegos y bloguear, fruto de aquello último tenemos la antología de música de videojuegos de horror que aquí os dejo:

The Triumph of Death/Funeral doom metal anthology/The best of funeral doom metal/Top funeral doom metal songs

Nota introductoria: Quizá habrá quien haya notado que no he publicado nada durante mucho tiempo en el blog. Aquello se ha debido sobre todo a dos cosas: a) estaba ocupado en el empeño de que el Profesor E. Gadd logre crear una replica funcional del lente de la verdad de Link, y b) estaba ocupado en esta antología. Lo relativo al primer punto se los contaré después, no sería pertinente hacerlo ahora. Únicamente les diré que le pagué 1000 dólares a Link para que me preste su lente de la verdad (lo cual aceptó solo con la condición de que si la lente resultaba dañada o perdida yo debía darle 250.000 dólares...) para investigarla y al Profesor E. Gadd le pagué 7000 dólares para que se ponga a investigar y, además, le ofrecí 50.000 si conseguía hacer una replica efectiva y funcional (para lo cual yo le daría los materiales necesarios). Ahora, en relación a lo segundo pues debo decir que me pasé un buen tiempo investigando en foros, leyendo reseñas críticas y buscando listas sobre los mejores álbumes y grupos. La razón de ello era que estaba tratando de hacer una antología lo más objetiva posible. No obstante siempre la subjetividad entra un poquito y la mejor muestra de ello es que no pude incluir a Esoteric o al álbum Disembowelment del grupo Disembowelment (el cual según una lista de Amazon estaba entre lo mejor). Lo primero porque Esoteric me parecía demasiado monótono y discordante en relación a los tracks que ya tenía pensado incluir, lo segundo porque el álbum Disembowelment me sonó a mal black metal aunque claro, se trataba de funeral doom por cuestiones como los ritmos lentos. ¿Pero qué se le va a hacer? La estética me pareció de black metal, y no del buen black metal: del mal black metal. Incluirlo habría sido un tanto inarmónico. Pero bueno, lo anterior no quiere decir que haya dado rienda suelta a mi subjetividad y la mayor muestra es que incluí el que me pareció el mejor track de Stream From the Heavens, un álbum de Thergothon, banda que está considerada prácticamente como la fundadora del género y que, por desgracia (porque el álbum que menciono es muy bueno a pesar de que no me gustó mucho), no publicó nada luego de Stream From the Heavens. Finalmente y ya para acabar, si ustedes me preguntan cuáles son mis dos bandas favoritas yo sin vacilar diría lo siguiente: Pantheist y Skepticism: son geniales, brillantes, eso sí que es excelente funeral doom metal. Oí cada álbum de esas bandas y puedo afirmar que las amo. Bien pues, me despido y los dejo con la antología.
